I really enjoyed doing this little paint project. It is small and comes stapled around a wooden frame. When it was complete I decided it looked a little too much like it belonged in a young girls room, so I did not hang it. It was fun to work on. I think a young person age 7-11 would probably really love this as a gift. The colors in the photo were not the same as the tones in the paints supplied with the canvas. If the colors were more like the photo I don’t think it would have looked so much like it belonged in a child’s room.

Solid product for the price and ease of assembly. I assembled it in less than 10 minutes for my 36 x 48 ish canvas painting. Really happy with it so far though it has only been a few days. Only caveat I had was that the glue and covering was missing or came off on the corner of one of the pieces when I opened the product, but as it is then matched to the corner of another piece, it was not an issue for assembly. Overly, highly recommend.

Very cool idea and works quite well. We had large vinyl signs of the kids’ images and could cut relatively to size so that was extra bonus for measurements. The only thing that prevents a 5 star rating is that the metal staple “stays” are welded together and to separate them requires an act of Congress (or a vice, plyers, screwdriver, etc) which is silly for something that is provided for easy no-tool use. Also, if you poster is “coated” or vinyl the adhesive on the back will not stick for long so help it out with some electricians tape or home-style stapler. Works great.

I did get this on sale – not sure if I would’ve paid full price BUT! it’s really amazing. I sent in a photo of our dog and it came with stretched canvas, all the paints, brushes, a guide, and photo of what it will look like when it’s done. It’s so beautiful and for anyone that’s remotely “crafty” or artistic, this would make a really great gift. I’m not a painter, but I like crafts and having this portrait of my precious pup on the wall makes me proud!

We are in quarantine and I wanted a small project. Although I have painted in the past, I did not feel I was talented enough to capture my husband’s favorite photo of our dog. I love this! Its been really fun. Mine came rolled, and I had no problems with any creasing.
I do just use the smallest little brush, and use the lid of the paint pit to mix water with the paint. Get the right consistency!
Mine did take a while to get to me, but I didnt mind! So fun!

It’s interesting!!! I finished it about one week, this picture has lots of details, so you should be patient. The result I am so satisfied! The finished painting almost the same as the picture which the seller provided. So beautiful.You can paint the area just follow the numbers which are marked, not too hard. It’s easily cover if you paint the wrong color, just wait for dry and than cover it. Don’t worry about the paints, it’s enough. When I paint, I play some music, It’s really a relax experience.

We are not done with the painting yet but couldn’t stop myself from posting this review. My daughter loves to paint and she loves cats. I bought this kit so we both can paint together. It was very easy to guide her to select the colors and She did a very good job staying within the lines. The most wonderful thing was that this design has 16 colors and that made her so happy with the colorful outcome, it’s coming out very beautiful. The only minor thing that “I†had trouble with is the tiny numbers on the canvas that could be printed little bigger. In my opinion. The brushes provided are different sizes, very good to paint bigger areas to very small areas. The kit had enough paint to cover the canvas and we are going to have a lot of paint left over as well. We already talking about framing it and hanging it in her room.

This painting is so pretty, and it’s really fun to do during my stay at home. The rolled canvas is very flat, no creases at all, and the quality is so good. So I was looking at the other listing for the sable brushes and thought these were sable too, but they are synthetic. That being said, they are very high quality synthetic. They are super sturdy and don’t seem to deform as easily as other synthetic brushes do.
The brushes came in a plastic container, and were inside a velvet pouch which is a really nice touch. All in all, even though this wasn’t what I originally intended to buy I’m pleased and will be ordering the NicPro sable brushes too. I’ve learned over the years that you can never have too many brushes!

Daisies Always Make Me Smile,Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to start painting yet. Life got too busy. But everything came in a decent amount of time, well packaged and most importantly the canvas was in good shape. So when I finally do get to do it I’ll update this review.
I have to admit I have a few in line before this one so it could be a while, we’ll see. I really do mean what the title says though, this painting always makes me smile, so it may get done sooner than later. 🙂
