I really enjoyed doing this little paint project. It is small and comes stapled around a wooden frame. When it was complete I decided it looked a little too much like it belonged in a young girls room, so I did not hang it. It was fun to work on. I think a young person age 7-11 would probably really love this as a gift. The colors in the photo were not the same as the tones in the paints supplied with the canvas. If the colors were more like the photo I don’t think it would have looked so much like it belonged in a child’s room.

This is an exciting kit! I have purchased quite a few kits, and as you know, it takes a while to paint one of these. These are pretty nice brushes. The bristles are a tad bit longer than I expected and the tiny ones (which I intend to use for the really small spots on my paint by numbers projects) aren’t as stiff as I had hoped, but they’re still good quality and will definitely get the job done.
Surprisingly, I prefer the larger sized brushes although I didn’t expect to use them much when I bought them. They’re very sturdy and paint beautifully and evenly.
Very sturdy handle and it’s actually sort of shimmery. More brown than black but I don’t care about the color. The grip part is a bit high for my personal taste and hand size, but I also like to grip very close to the edge.
The case is a nice bonus so I can store them closed and upright so there’s no chance of the bristles getting bent during storage. It also has a velvet bag which is cute. Shipping took about a week total.

The ergonomic design is appreciated. It’s worth mentioning that they wouldn’t be as good for children or adults with small hands (I struggled a bit due to the size of mine but that’s no fault of the design). They arrived in good condition as advertised. The only reason I docked one star was because of a few longer hairs so to me they weren’t perfect, but I’d purchase again. These were used to paint miniatures for table top gaming, and I’ve only used 3 brushes twice so I can’t speak to the longevity or how they’d hold up to painting on canvas. Overall though I’m happy with the purchase.

My first one!,I loved the colors, and the simplified rendering of the famous image lends itself well to paint-by-number. There is less detail than in the photo that represents the piece. See my finished canvas below. I was able to paint with the brushes that were supplied. My only complaint is that there was not enough #1 – black. All the other colors had an adequate supply of paint. I had to use the dark brown #6 in a few places as a substitute for the black.

They are a little complex for little hands, but we all ended up enjoying them. Plenty of paint in each package and 3 decent brushes for the varied size paint by number spots. We did have to augment with some of our own brushes but all and all a very good product.

I’m using these brushes mainly for smoothing colored-pencil drawings, as well as detail work on scale models. They’ve performed well after several uses, with roughly 4 cumulative hours on the most used brushes. I haven’t noticed a loss of bristles or anything that would amount to a quality issue. The brush is comfortable in the hand, has a decent weight to it, without feeling terrible unbalanced. If I had to replace these today, I wouldn’t have issues buying these again.

This design’s so nice and soothing. The color combination is gorgeous, and there’s plenty of little details to paint that will keep you entertained for hours.
I have amassed quite the collection of paint-by-number kits during the pandemic (I find painting without having to think much, just following the instructions very relaxing) and normally DIY kits are a bit above average quality: the designs are printed on a nice white canvas and the outlines are not too bold, so they can be covered nicely with the paint. The quality of the paints is average (nice colors but the light ones are too thin and you’ll need to apply several layers). The brushes are flimsy: they do the job, but if you plan on doing more than one paint, get yourself a nicer set of miniature brushes. Now, what could be improved: the canvas comes folded, so you’ll have to iron it, and there’s no schematic included, which is annoying because sometimes you need to check back on numbest for sections that have been partially painted.
