I did paint by numbers as a kid… and I have to say, this is a LOT better than the kits from my day.
First off is the weight of the canvas… It would have the feel of a regular painting when done and would mount nicely for framing.
The pattern on the canvas is VERY challenging to read but there’s a paper copy as well which is useful. I got this for my 9 yr old granddaughter and I know this will be a stretch for her. It’s definitely more complicated than anything I did. But if she gets it right it will be a beautiful thing that she can put up on her wall and be proud of.
Once she works on it I’ll try to get back with an update. So far tho, pretty impressed!

Some of the wooden bars are a couple millimeters longer than they should be, which becomes a problem when trying to fit the frame to the edges of the canvas photo. But it’s super easy to assemble!

I had to stretch one of my 16″x20″ digital photos printed on canvas for an art exhibit. I am new at this and was a little nervous. I had never stretched a canvas before. The frames came well packaged. They are a good weight, and not cheaply made. They were extremely easy to set up and frame my painting. My only complaint is that the glue strips released on two sides of one painting. Regardless of that, these frames are the way to go in terms of ease and function.

BUT, the main background color that comes with it doesn’t match the picture displayed. I added my own paint to make it match cause the purple doesn’t go well. Maroon made a difference. Also i do these often, they don’t all come this way with so many extras to help the painter. The quality of the paint is medium pigment, normal pbn give low pigment. Highly impressed since I’ve spent over 30$ on one and i was not satisfied at all. And this was pinky 20!

I have only started the pain by number, but the paint seems to cover well and the canvas doesn’t soak in or run. The canvas creases were a challenge to get out but I put it on a stretcher frame before I started. Very small detailed sections and 24 different paints so I think it will look well blended. The whole family got involved!,When the pandemic began and everything started shutting down, my college and adult children returned home. I looked all over online at these kits and they all seemed to require a month or more for delivery and were twice the price. I decided on this on instead due to fast shipping and I was impressed. I think I got it in about a week or less. The picture looked great, most paints were good for covering (only a couple needed two coats), and the colors were for the most part correct.
