Finally got this frame together after a couple tries. I hope I didn’t ruin the stickicity of the glue. Once I got it together and put my canvas on it, it seems pretty tight and firm. I love that I didn’t have to get a staple gun to put some frames together. Now that i know how easy it is to put this together, I will never buy a frame that has to be stapled. I wonder if this product will be strong enough to use on aida cloth for cross stitched items.

Having said that, the quality of the product was very good and although I had some dry paint on another order, the paint quality for this was excellent. If you like doing 30000 piece puzzles this is for you. I bought this for our wedding “paper anniversary†in the 2nd to smallest size and ohmyjesus. Ohmyjesus. If you’re looking for something to do with your kids don’t. If you want to work on something slowly for at least a month this is for you. I had to go out and buy 2 tiny paint brushes because the ones they sent were way too big for all the tiny articulate miniature tiny house architect doll house lines we needed to paint. At first I thought, wow I could do this as a hobby in my down time quickly changed a week after we started and it looked like we did NOTHING PEOPLE NOTHING. I give it 4 stars because it turned out great, much thanks to our probably 20 hours of effort I’m not kidding, but I’m so glad it’s done. I can’t wait to hang it up somewhere I can’t see it because every time I look at it I think about the h e double hockey sticks it took us to paint this.

Was pretty easy to follow although some numbers you will have to paint many times before the number doesn’t show. I’d recommend getting more brushes since the ones it comes with breaks a little after a while. Some of the areas are soooo small it is hard to see where to paint. When I got the canvas it was folded and it was hard for the folded look to go away. Otherwise I’m satisfied with the result and it was a fun project! You can frame it with a 16 x 20

I’m not at all inclined artistically. Tried color books a while ago and it just didn’t work out. I guess I’m either too impatient or ADD. Saw this cute paint by numbers and decided to give it a try. I did buy a separate set of brushes, since most of these sets come with only 3 not very versatile brushes. And have to say it was a fun pass-time activity! Turned out better than expected and I found it to be actually relaxing. There are a lot of easier, beginner paintings out there, but I had to try this one out simply because I think it’s adorable.

Some of these turn out better than others. This one was just ok. the colors look good enough but they don’t at all come together like in the picture. there are LARGE blocks of the sasme colors on this one so the colors need to blend better than in those where you have more of a break up. I still enjoy painting though so if you are looking for something to pass a day then go fo it but, if you are looking fo one to hang up or give as a gift then keep looking.

 Well, I found a new hobby for my colorblind husband! He was thrilled when I gave this painting to him, it was pretty adorable. He’s never been able to see colors – he basically sees most things in shades of brown, red, and grey. I’ve accepted that he won’t ever be able to see the color purple or pink or that when the sky is blue its just a brighter white to him… But to him, being colorblind is all he knows, he knows no difference. Having something to paint that incorporates so many colors when he can’t see them has been truly enjoyable for him, because he knows that the colors are in the “right” places so the painting will turn out amazing. He has always been hesitant to do artistic things because he’s worried that he will not get the colors right. Not this time!
As far as the painting itself… the canvas is big! Bigger than I actually pictured even though it says the size on the description. But that allows for so many details and colors. Some of these details are verrry tiny, so I’m buying him a magnifying light, too. He’s using his headlamp in the video 😠I’m not sure how long it will take him to finish the painting, but I have a feeling, since he’s such a perfectionist, that it may be a while. The nice thing is that now we can do creative things together ⤠This is a wonderful gift for someone that is patient and detail oriented. Or maybe even colorblind like my husband! Either way, its a delight.

I got this set for a painting class I took. Fortunately, the majority of the required colors were within this package and it was great.
