Since I rely heavily on pictures from other consumers when deciding whether to purchase something online, I thought I would contribute for once. This was my first PBN project, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think the finished product looks almost identical to the photo. The colors are comparable to what you see online. I took a picture of my finished product in natural light.
However, I did run out of the #5 medium brown color. While I covered all the sections, there are some white spots that show through. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I did also have to go over the lighter colors a second, third, and fourth time to cover the numbers. Overall, however, I think this is worth the money!

Beautiful painting but different from the others,This painting is gorgeous but different from all the others I bought before, this one had the drawing printed in red and not in black. Also, one of the paints was quite liquid so more than one coat was necessary to cover the red numbers. Other than that, great painting!

I was skeptical at first. We usually buy an already set up canvas, not just a canvas sheet. But this time around I needed the frame to stretch the canvas sheet over, so we gave this a try. It was easy to assemble, is very durable, … but it does not stick 100%, we stapled it on the backside into the wood, and hammered it down to make sure it doesn’t come unglued. Still perfect frame!

This was my first “advanced” paint by numbers, and I did not expect it to turn out so well. It looks just as advertised! Painting by numbers like this is a rather relaxing, meditative activity that can easily be done while chatting with friends or listening to music. This painting took me 11.5 hrs total to finish, but it is very easy to stop whenever you want and simply pick back up later. I had MORE than enough paint of each color and did not come close to running out. This particular sunflower painting uses a lot of odd, unique colors that somehow gel harmoniously with each other. It was fascinating to watch it all come together in the end. I bought the version that came pre-stretched over a wood frame, but honestly I found that I preferred painting with it flat on a table rather than propped on an easel. The numbers and shapes are printed on the canvas quite darkly which makes them easy to see but difficult to cover with certain colors (whites, yellows, and oranges). If you obsessively want to obscure every line then you will be applying 3-4 coats of some colors (but again, there is plenty of paint to do so). Also the small paint cups do require some force and dexterity to open which could be difficult for youngsters, people with arthritis, and such. Give it a try, and hopefully you will be as impressed as I was!

Fine,The canvas is good quality and the paint is fine. My only frustration was that the there was one color that they needed to send at least one more little container of. I think it was either color #2 or #5 (I don’t remember). The top part of the painting is full of different dark shades and I ended up scraping the sides to get every bit of paint out. The lighter colors need several coats to cover up the number. Some numbers were hard to decipher or really close to the edge but it’s not impossible to figure out. As they say on the site, it did take about a month for it to arrive.

This is smaller than I thought it was. It requires precision because the lines are really fine that you have to paint. I bought this for a child, but it’s more for an adult. It comes on a thick canvas and it has a practice sheet. I would buy this again.

I bought these brushes for working on a small 4×6 acrylic painting. The brushes arrived in nice packaging, a soft plush drawstring bag containing a plastic screwtop tube which housed the brushes. Each brush has its own plastic protective tube for the bristles.
The brushes are comfortable to use and do work well for detailing tiny areas, although it’s almost impossible to get a line smaller than a medium-point pen.
The brushes retain their shape after several cleanings and uses. My only complaint is that the brushes did tend to shed a fiber or two that I needed to pull out of the tip to stop it from feathering the line I was painting. That was annoying, but only happened 3 or 4 times in about 8 hours of use.
Overall, these are pretty nice brushes and especially for their price. They might not be what you need if you are needing a tip smaller than a medium point pen.

Most of the paint-by-numbers kits I have seen are on a sort of drafting paper but there is some long-term value for this kit with it being on canvas. The quality once I finish will be much higher than just if it were on paper.
It was also helpful that they provided three paint brushes so that I can use different colors for dark and light sections of the painting. I’m so excited to finish this one up!

BUT, the main background color that comes with it doesn’t match the picture displayed. I added my own paint to make it match cause the purple doesn’t go well. Maroon made a difference. Also i do these often, they don’t all come this way with so many extras to help the painter. The quality of the paint is medium pigment, normal pbn give low pigment. Highly impressed since I’ve spent over 30$ on one and i was not satisfied at all. And this was pinky 20!

I got this for my 14 year old niece to do and give back to me. I have problems with my hands so I could not do it myself. She enjoyed doing it. The numbers were easy to read and the instructions easy to follow. The paints worked well and are nice colors. I like that this set sends multiple brushes too. My only complaint is the creases on the finished product. I wish it wasn’t so creased from being in the box. But that’s just my personal preference and I didn’t take any stars off for that. Overall she enjoyed the time she spent on it and I like the finished product.
