It has easy to use directions but it was definitely different from other canvas stretchers I have used. It didn’t completely turn out how I wanted. Also keep in mind that there is an adhesive so once you put it on it’s kinda stuck for good. Do follow the step by step instructions though.

Recently I had purchased five pieces of canvas artwork of varying sizes from the internet, knowing I was going to have to DIY up a canvas frame solution for each of them. I’m here to tell you that I *might* have been able to do it without these frame kits, but it would’ve been a lot more challenging, AND a lot more expensive! Simple instructions, simple pieces, and after spending a couple hours… I ended up with 5 absolutely gorgeous pieces of artwork with minimal work and miniscule money invested. (Trust me, if you’ve ever had to have something professionally framed, you know how expensive it can get!) My only complaint (and it’s relatively minor) is that each kit comes with metal “brackets” to pin down the edges of your canvas to the frame. In every case, the metal brackets were seemingly frozen to each other and I couldn’t separate them from one another — so they were basically useless. I ended up using a staple gun I had on hand to pin down each edge, and it worked beautifully. If I end up with canvasses in the future, there’s no question I’ll pick up more of these. ALSO… keep in mind that no instructions are included with the package itself, so you’ll want to return to the Amazon page and print your instructions from there. The steps are super-simple.

I love these brushes! I got them to use with some new gold Fintech paints in my coloring books. I needed fine points to do some detail work and decided to try these out after reading all the great reviews. These come packaged really nicely in a plastic round container. Each brush is individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve and each also has a plastic covering over the tip to protect the bristles. I have used these several times to do very detailed work and they work wonderfully well. The bristles are soft but not so much that they lose shape. I love that there are several thicknesses in the fine point tips for various needs. I am very happy to get these brushes at this price point and plan to use them quite a bit.

I liked this fun little canvas that comes wrapped and printed with the numbers ready for kids to do. It’s great for 6 year olds and above because they have the motor skills required for this size. The order of execution is also specified – just follow the numbers and paint in ascending order. Bought it for a frameless paint-by-number and it did the trick. I was intimidated by the idea of mounting canvas on a frame; I’d never done it before but this was easy to do. I was nervous at first when I put it together because I was worried if you didn’t put the corners perfectly, it would end up wonky, but the tension fiberboards made a huge difference. The canvas for my paint-by-number didn’t have much excess canvas around the print, so this really just stuck to the edges (and I even have some adhesive sticking out on the sides), but I was happily surprised at how easy it ended up being. Glad I didn’t buy a staple gun (like I thought I would need to).

This will make a very beautiful painting when it’s done. The canvas is folded so you may want to do something about flattening or stretching it on a frame before you start. Stretching onto a frame is kind of necessary to start with if you wish to paint on an easel instead of a flat table but you can do that too then frame. There is an ample amount of paint to complete the project and the instructions on the back of the box are fairly easy to understand also.

Beautiful advanced results,I chose this as my 3rd painting to tackle as it looked a little more difficult than the first two. Lots of fine detail, shading (optional) time consuming, and I loved every moment of it. Loved the results and ordered a custom paint by number as my next attempt. Highly recommend this print. Only negative was worrying about running out of paint especially the black background and several of the skin tones. If the option is available to order extra paint it would be a good idea.

I bought these to augment and replace the brushes that you get with paint-by-numbers. There are two brushes smaller than the smallest you get with the kits, which makes detailed paint-by-numbers much easier to handle and complete. I wouldn’t recommend these for serious artists, but for hobbyists like myself, they are perfectly adequate and serve their purpose nicely at a very low cost.
