I loved this!! It was fun and relaxing to do and the results were amazing. This would have been a 5 star product if not for the one issue. As stated by other reviewers, the kit gives you a bright purple where it should be black or a very dark brown. I solved this issue by mixing together equal parts purple with my darkest green and darkest brown (#7 &8). That gave me a color dark enough and different enough to do the job.

The glue strips work great to hold the canvas during assembly. Our canvas was cut a little too short to completely cover the glue, so we covered the rest with masking tape.

Great product, minus the staples that it came with- they were sticking or almost glue together and had to pry them off one by one with 2 pliers . Don’t use your fingers, ended up poking one end in my finger before using pliers.

Really pretty and was fun to do but…,I really enjoyed doing this painting. It was my first adult paint by numbers. I did run out of #2 and #4 though. I had to buy some craft paint at Hobby Lobby to finish. I wish the “purple” had actually been purple like the description picture shows, it all looks black on my painting. Other reviews show purple so I guess it’s hit or miss if they send the correct colors. 🙁
Took me 46 hours to complete total over a few weeks. Next one is the Paris street scene.

Came really fast but the colors were a bit off and there was a glare on my glasses that made things look a little weird. This product is way easier to use than I thought. I read reviews beforehand, some sounded like horror stories and I almost gave up trying to do it on my own because I’m not handy in any way. I was going to just bring it to a shop but I decided to pick up the challenge because I actually have time on my hands. If it will take me weeks, so be it. It took me about 45 minutes. And that’s only because I measured and marked and remeasured and remarked like 20 times. Once I finally started it took me maybe 10 minutes tops. The product video is very helpful and accurate. I highly recommend and would use again.

I have never framed a piece of canvas art before and bought this frame basically because it had such amazing reviews. I have to say, I am astounded at how simple it was to get an incredible finished product. If you follow the instructions, letter-for-letter, one step at a time, and heed! the warning that the double-stick tape they use is the real deal, super strong stuff, you will be pleased as well. In fact, it was such a great experience, its encouraged me to purchase more loose canvas art, and I’ll be ordering another frame soon.

I did paint by numbers as a kid… and I have to say, this is a LOT better than the kits from my day.
First off is the weight of the canvas… It would have the feel of a regular painting when done and would mount nicely for framing.
The pattern on the canvas is VERY challenging to read but there’s a paper copy as well which is useful. I got this for my 9 yr old granddaughter and I know this will be a stretch for her. It’s definitely more complicated than anything I did. But if she gets it right it will be a beautiful thing that she can put up on her wall and be proud of.
Once she works on it I’ll try to get back with an update. So far tho, pretty impressed!

It was for my own use and fun…..but, it is printed on a pliable canvas and comes folded in quarters. It has permanent creases in it when unfolded, but, I steamed the back side with a hot iron and an ironing cloth on it…that seemed to help a lot.

For an adult, it’s a pleasant activity, easy to be mindless and get lost in the numbers. The canvas is great quality, like it’s real actual canvas and not plastic sheeting or something. It came folded up, and the folds came out with an iron. I had my husband built me a wooden frame for it, that we stretched the canvas over and stapled it, which is exactly what I wanted. The paints are really nice quality too, I think it’s real acrylic or something – but I don’t think it’s oil as the item description says. The paint washes off the brushes with just water. Not just cheap materials, which is what I was expecting! The brushes leave a little to be desired, but I used scissors to trim off the bad hairs and now they’re ok. I would not recommend for kids! lol 😛 Tiny tiny details, in the pictures I used a pen for scale of the tiny areas that are to be painted! (I guess some kids could handle it, but not many I know!) It’s gonna take me forever to finish, as these sorts of crafts usually do. But it’s already turning out much better than I thought it would. Overall, much much better quality than the description leads on! I am pleased with this!

I really like these brushes for detail painting. They work great with acrylic paints. Also work nice to paint 3D prints made of PLA. They come in a nice plastic tube that I was able to add my other brushes to keep them nice as well. Super happy with these brushes and great price for the quality.
