I was so happy to find this and have enjoyed working on the paint by number project. My only complaint is that it is very hard to read some of the numbered areas because they are so small. The brushes included will definitely not work for the smaller parts of the painting so I would recommend getting some very small bushes for the detailed parts. The picture that was included for reference is a very small sticker that is stretched out of proportion in comparison to the actual canvas. It also included a larger numbered reference guide, but this too is very hard to read. At this point I have finished the larger areas and will have to just use my best judgement to complete the rest. It will need a lot of “touching up” because some of the parts just don’t look right. The fish on the end of the fishing pole doesn’t even resemble anything like a fish so I will have to fix that too. I was able to find a picture of what this painting was based on and have included the photo for reference if anyone needs it.

This was really fun to paint and the final product looks great. My only complaint is that the stems in the picture didn’t come outlined or numbered- the bottom under the red petals was just blank. So although I don’t have a creative bone in my body I had to improvise the stems. But overall it turned out pretty nice. I’d purchase another paint-by-number again.

Get your Zen on,This was my first paint by numbers. Very different from what I remember from childhood! It was very relaxing and engrossing- I lost track of time as I painted. Loved the finished product so much I had it professionally framed and hung it in my room. One star off for some paints that were a bit dry and not having a gridded map to refer to when the numbers were not clear (so many tiny areas made up the tree, it was easy to lose sight of some of the pattern). I loved how they came in, they were in a hard reusable container that I can use for my brushes while traveling and the brushes also came in a small black bag but it smelled like chemicals. The brushes are easy to hold and the hairs on the brushes are in good condition but the handles are made of plastic and feel really cheap. I think they will work just fine but not worth the money.

this is one of the best purchases I’ve EVER made. There was only 1 review when I bought this, which made me a little nervous, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the product.
-yes, the canvas comes folded up and yes the folds will cause problems. My solution was to lay a pile of books on the folds for a few hours and problem solved.
-yes, the numbers are small. Im a young adult with glasses and they’re definitely legible, but some of the sections are VERY small, therefore the number inside has to be small. If you’re elderly or have bad eyesight keep that in mind.
-I came across a couple sections that weren’t numbered, and they weren’t numbered on the paper cheat-sheet it comes with either. It also comes with a small colored version of the finished product, so it was pretty easy to take a magnifying glass to that section of the colored version and figure out which number should go there.
-the paints are very nice. They do dry quickly, so if you plan on doing any blending keep that in mind, however I like that they dry fast, so by the time I finish one number I can move right on the next.
This has kept me occupied for weeks and I feel so accomplished when I look at it. 11/10.

Was actually really really pleased with this. I have almost zero painting experience but had a long three day weekend on my own and on a whim ordered this kit. I picked it over others because it came pre-framed (it looks like a bunch of others is just the canvas and then you have to stretch it over a frame – no thank you!) and it comes with an easel which just made me feel more “painterly”. Overall painting experience 10/10. My only quibble was that there were not instructions on how to assemble the easel so I mostly just figured it out after fussing around with it a bit. Fair warning, you’ll need a screw driver.

Nice Painting!!!,For once, I don’t have too many complaints about a kit. Paints were good, as were the canvas and brushes. Painting was well laid out and easy to follow. Lots of tiny sections (typical of famous art), and the lighter colors required 2 or 3 coats (also typical of most kits). This painting took a while to complete, but the end result was well worth it.

I enjoy these paint by numbers and thought this one was pretty, and I liked that it was relatively inexpensive. There are a lot of small details to paint, so this one will take time to finish. My photo took me 5 days of painting 2-4 hours a day to get here. The brushes and paints are decent quality. The only thing missing was a reference page to look at in case you accidentally painted something wrong. So make sure you take before pictures of the canvas before you start. Also, it would be nice if there were more of certain colors that are used more than others. The lines and numbers are fairly dark, so more paint would also help to make it so these don’t show through, in addition to making sure there’s enough to paint the picture.

I loved how this turned out, it’s very pretty. The canvass came folded, I was able to iron out the creases & applied 2 coats of gesso. It didn’t come with a printed guide so I took photos prior to beginning. Some of the paints took a few coats for coverage especially the greens & yellows. The colors are true to what is shown in the photo. I used Liquitex to thin some of the thicker paints. It’s quite detailed, many of the spaces are tiny but the prep work & patience you put into it will be worth your time.
