I’m about halfway through. The paint pots seemed very small and first but they will clearly carry me through to the end. That said, have patience! This is a small painting with lots of tiny leaves and stems. Unless you get your own super fine brushes, you’ll have a nice piece but no way you’ll be able to stay “perfectly” in the lines. That said, I’m a novice painter.

This is a great option for someone who enjoys paint by numbers… BUT, I wouldn’t make this your first choice. The spaces on this piece are absolutely tiny and take a significant amount of time to fill in. There are ~15 different colors to fill in on this canvas, and it took me 8 hours to complete number 5 alone. The process of completing this will not be slow, but I hope it will be worth it. I am through 3 colors so far, and while I am enjoying it, I wish I had purchased a paint by numbers with a little less detail. The brushes are mediocre for this, as they never seem to be the right size to fill in the spaces to the edge without going over, or taking all your time to get the detail just right. I suspect a higher end fine tip brush would help.

Custom painting Just ok,The item printed fast and was put in the mail fast but took almost two months to actually get the item. I’m not happy with the faces and I had to change the colouring of the teeth and eyes. Not something I would recommend for a beginner. The faces are too choppy for my taste. A little Andy Worhallish to me. Maybe a pet would look better or something that doesn’t have as much detail as I had.

Custom PBN,I have only finished one of them and i’m pleased with it. I’m still working on the others and am a little concerned with the colors. I have learned that you really can’t tell for sure until you’re finished. I really wish they would put more numbers on them. I have found it difficult to tell what color to use when there is only 1 number for a large winding area. Also the very light (pink) lines are difficult to see.

I saw many people write that they ran out of paint.. I believe that to properly do any paint by numbers, you should definitely add a little water to the paints.. but this painting is fantastic! Only complaint I have, is that some of the numbers are not printed clearly on the canvas or on the “guideâ€. You kind of just need to wing it with some of the smaller spots.

I got this for my 14 year old niece to do and give back to me. I have problems with my hands so I could not do it myself. She enjoyed doing it. The numbers were easy to read and the instructions easy to follow. The paints worked well and are nice colors. I like that this set sends multiple brushes too. My only complaint is the creases on the finished product. I wish it wasn’t so creased from being in the box. But that’s just my personal preference and I didn’t take any stars off for that. Overall she enjoyed the time she spent on it and I like the finished product.

My oldest daughter is very craty and pregnant and spending a lot of time resting. This is great for her to do as she can work on it while sitting down. Her and her husband are hunters and love to find them a deer so this is the perfect image for her. The canvas is very thick. Its nice quality and inludes the paint and brushes as well. there are also instructions if you need them. The pieces are small, but she has great eyes so its not an issue for her.
