I like the quality of the wood in this kit. I’m using it to mount a craft picture made with acrylic pieces glued to a pattern. Unfortunately, the frame size I ordered was the picture size and wound up being too large by only a fraction of an inch on the last two pieces when I tried to join and finish the frame. These “diamond paintings†don’t have a lot of extra material to wrap around the frame and I don’t want to make them smaller by wrapping part of the actual picture around the frame for fear of the pieces popping off the picture. You can see by the attached photo, it’s edge to edge. My husband did manage to sand down the edges to make them fit and I’m satisfied with the result. I will definitely order again because the product overall is a quality item.

I was a first timer at this so it was a little tricky and took a bit of thinking/planning to make sure I had the edges lined up correctly before I set the sticky side on the print. The directions were a bit simplistic and could use a little more explanation … and maybe a few tips about getting the best stretch in the print so you don’t have any sagging. Mine turned out good, but I could see it not working out well if you’re not careful because the tape is extremely grippy. After doing one, a second one would be easy. The dimensions were also spot on!

I just assembled one of these for one canvas art, and it was super simple. The instructions included have both pictures and written instructions to walk the assembler through the process. It even comes with 2 screws and wall hooks to hang it up! I will definitely buy from these sellers for the other paintings I want to put on canvas.

I bought a paint-by-number kit . . . not framed. Bought this for it and it comes together easily, but what is not easy is getting it so perfectly aligned that the canvas is as taught as possible. The corner expanders/braces could do some stretching but then they’d have to be glued in and held in place by something pressing both opposing corners . . . and that was not part of the kit. I do not know the life span of the adhesive material holding the canvas in place. Blessings.

Bought it for a frameless paint-by-number and it did the trick. I was intimidated by the idea of mounting canvas on a frame; I’d never done it before but this was easy to do. I was nervous at first when I put it together because I was worried if you didn’t put the corners perfectly, it would end up wonky, but the tension fiberboards made a huge difference. The canvas for my paint-by-number didn’t have much excess canvas around the print, so this really just stuck to the edges (and I even have some adhesive sticking out on the sides), but I was happily surprised at how easy it ended up being. Glad I didn’t buy a staple gun (like I thought I would need to).

My business is mainly fine-art canvases that I sell as gallery wraps. For years I have been using another brand of bars that, for small sizes, are only 3/8†thick and tend to warp. I have been evaluating these to replace the others, though they are more costly, because bars are more massive and never to warp. However there are flaws in these too. First, the grooves that accept the square “staples†are simply too shallow, so that when the “staples†that connect the corners stretch outward they puncture the canvas on the sides. That is totally unworkable. So, I throw away those “staples†and simply staple the corners together (two staples at first and another two over the canvas when it is wrapped back). This works nicely, even better than the other brand. I love it. The second problem is there is poor qualilty control of the length of these bars. I have seen as much as 3/16†(almost 1/4â€) errors in length. Maybe the manufatgurer thinks this is not a problem because they expect painters to assemble blank canvases and then paint on them. But, I go to great pains to print images that come out to exact sizes in inches at the fold lines, beyond which a reflection of the edge of the image is printed for the wrapped sides. If that line does not fall exactly on the edge of a bar, either it shows on the face or on the side. Not good. So, with these bars that I love, I must first select the bars, measure them and then crop my images precisely to fit those somewhat off dimensions. Then extend the images for wrapping and finally print an image to fit the particular bars I am using. Whether I can reprint an image depends on how lucky I am that the next set of bars will match. Finally, figure on stapling your canvas on the back. The adhesive on the back is wonderful for making tghe canvas lie flat, but without staples will not hold the canvas down over time. With staples, it’s very nice.
Bottom line, (1) forget the included hardware for connecting the

I havent really had alot of time to work on this but what i can tell you about it is that the glue on the canvas is extremely sticky, the gems cover very well, it has easy to follow color coordinating graph, comes w/ everything you need from start to finish, the gems are vibrantly colored and when the lights hit them they shiney and not dull.
One thing i would suggest you get is a monthly medicine organizer to keep your gems in that way you can fill in rows at a time and not have to worry about them spilling so the are neatly organized.
