This is smaller than I thought it was. It requires precision because the lines are really fine that you have to paint. I bought this for a child, but it’s more for an adult. It comes on a thick canvas and it has a practice sheet. I would buy this again.

I love the kit. I have ordered a couple different ones but this dragon one has so many tiny tiny spots to paint you seriously need to do it with a fine tipe sharpy instead of a paint brush… my and my 7 year old son are doing this together and despite this Dragon having a lot of tiny spots its super fun and easy for anyone to do

I bought these brushes for working on a small 4×6 acrylic painting. The brushes arrived in nice packaging, a soft plush drawstring bag containing a plastic screwtop tube which housed the brushes. Each brush has its own plastic protective tube for the bristles.
The brushes are comfortable to use and do work well for detailing tiny areas, although it’s almost impossible to get a line smaller than a medium-point pen.
The brushes retain their shape after several cleanings and uses. My only complaint is that the brushes did tend to shed a fiber or two that I needed to pull out of the tip to stop it from feathering the line I was painting. That was annoying, but only happened 3 or 4 times in about 8 hours of use.
Overall, these are pretty nice brushes and especially for their price. They might not be what you need if you are needing a tip smaller than a medium point pen.

I ordered three of these, and absolutely love every single one of them. The company was great and responsive, gave me a preview before sending them, and even helped resolve a shipping issue. The actual paintings were not the easiest to do, hence all the detail on them. I took my time and they turned out exactly like the photo I sent and the preview they gave me. The colors were perfect, and there was more than enough paint (I had doubts about this but I had plenty leftover). I will absolutely buy more of these on the future and cannot wait to be able to do more. Fyi I coated one of the paintings with resin so it is much more shiny than the others.

It takes time and patience so it’s not something that you’re going to do overnight and move on to something else …thats unless you devote that kind of time to complete the task. It is fun and like I said…when the over all product is finished you can look at your accomplishment. You didnt draw it but you did paint it…with assistance..either way..you!

I really loved the end result but the pain was not was too translucent and the numbers were not covered in 1 coat you had to do 3 or 4 on some but I had plenty of paint to do the what I needed to cover the numbers. It was super nice to paint and the likeness is really good!

Some of the wooden bars are a couple millimeters longer than they should be, which becomes a problem when trying to fit the frame to the edges of the canvas photo. But it’s super easy to assemble!

I was so excited to start this when I got the package I am mediately started painting, it takes a lot of time but it’s really fun. although as I gradually got more and more into the painting I realized that the picture that it comes with as a reference is not the painted picture it’s the actual picture so the painting is a little in accurate.
