These frame kits are pretty awesome. I considered trying to make some myself on the table/chop saw, but this was so much easier. The instructions could have been a little bit clearer, but I was able to decipher them pretty quick and was off and running. I framed up two canvasses rather quickly (20 mins, including figuring everything out). I did find that taking a small lamp and shining it through the front of the canvas let me see through the back to help me mark where my art began/ended and made placing the lengths of wood a lot easier. Once I got these bad boys put together, they were really solid and my canvas was taught. Plus, they fit perfectly into a frame I purchased elsewhere. Overall, I’d totally buy these again. Great stuff.

Just got these and enjoy them. The grip is great and appreciate that the handle doesn’t flake and so far they don’t shed. If I need more paintbrushes I will go with this brand. I’m a brush snob… years of artistry work with acrylics and watercolors I’ve learned that you don’t buy cheap brushes. I recently started painting mini figures for my family as we started playing d&d together, I looked at many brushes that were made by the companies who also make the mini paints but I was not thrilled with them. After reading many reviews and looking at many different brands I opted for these brushes. I didn’t want to spend a fortune as I am just starting to paint the minis but I knew I needed something good to get the quality work I wanted. These brushes are awesome. Comfortable in the hand and sturdy, the hairs are neatly stacked and well secured. Even after washing (I highly recommend brush cleaner) they hold their shape and strength with each stroke. I definitely recommend these brushes and will buy again if I wear these out.

This was my first time stretching and painting on my own canvas, so I was a little hesitant when I took this stretcher out of the box. But, the instructions were easy to follow and easy to do and it worked just like it was supposed to. Make sure you order the size you need for the size of the final painting (aka you should have extra canvas on all 4 sides which will be folded behind the painting – if your painting is going to end up 16 x 20, expect to actually start with a slightly larger total piece of canvas i.e. 18 x 22, that way you’ll have at 2″ to fold over the back of the stretchers.

I finished and the colors are way off from what they are supposed to be. (first picture is original) And I had to make an orange for myself to use as I ran out because the canvas kept bleeding thru on that specific color provided. Canvas bled thru bout half the colors. Still a nice picture but the colors bother me as I know what they’re supposed to be. But the quality of canvas and speed of shipping give it a higher review would have been a 3 if not for that

My son bought this rolled print while we were on vacation in California. A local shop wanted $109 plus tax to frame it. After reading the good reviews on this product we decided to purchase. I have a new hobby and it is painting these DIY pictures. They are so relaxing and I really like painting them. It is a nice way to meditate and be mindful. Painting these pictures is definitely a great way to pass the time. I bought the autumn picture and I would say it was about a medium difficulty. I paint little by little each day and It took me about a week to finish. I am not the best when it comes to art, but these paintings can make anyone an exceptional artist. You do not really have to have top talent to complete one of these and that is why I like them so much. The numbers are pretty easy to see and the canvas that it came with is made out of some high quality material. It also came with all the color and paint brushes you need. Price was not bad at all and I thoroughly enjoyed painting it. Definitely will be buying more!

Very challenging, tiny bits to paint, it’s so fun, painting through it all. Comes folded in small package so a warm iron on back with a little water spray will take creases out. Stretch paint.. I keep water near for keeping brushes clean and to keep paint very slightly thinned. Check paint pod covers to make sure they are on tight.

We looked into professional canvas framing of our prints. Quotes were in the hundreds. We stumbled across P&L Art’s DIY canvas frame kit. For about $20, and maybe 10 minutes of work (the first one took longer, as we were more apprehensive), we now have professional looking frames! The online video showing the process was perfect. The only suggestion I have would be to make sure there’s some excess print to tuck around the back of the frame. We had very little at the edge, so we didn’t end up using the backside adhesive. No problem for us, though. It’s not a very big deal, and it in no way detracts from the look. Just think about a ~1″ frame depth that the print will likely need to wrap onto, and maybe another 1/2″ to fold around back. I would recommend this to everyone!

Lovely piece of art,I had fun recreating this painting. I didn’t quite follow all of the lines. I found a photo online of the actual painting and then did some more shading in the sky around Mount Fuji. All in all, it turned out impressive-looking and I’m glad to hang it in my living room wall.

I am still working on it, but so far it has been a lot of fun! The brushes that come with it were actually better than expected. Most cab be easily colored with the brushes.
I also like that there are no fields where you have to blend the colors. Everything has its own color.

First of all, I am not an artist. However, I saw this paint by numbers kit and I thought my granddaughter would really enjoy this since it would help her with her concentration and motor skills. I am extremely happy with the quality of the kit that I received. Everything was well organized and well packaged. The kit might have been a bit expensive but it was worth every bit of what I paid for it. I’ll give this product an A+.
