This was really fun to paint and the final product looks great. My only complaint is that the stems in the picture didn’t come outlined or numbered- the bottom under the red petals was just blank. So although I don’t have a creative bone in my body I had to improvise the stems. But overall it turned out pretty nice. I’d purchase another paint-by-number again.

Nice product. WAAAYYY cheaper than taking them to the store. My one caution–the sizing was not exact, slightly large in fact, and so it caused me to have to go back and paint additional parts at the edges. Still worth it. It saved me a couple hundred dollars versus the quote I got at Michaels for canvas framing on 3 paintings.

Being bored during COVID, I ordered a 16×20 paint by numbers. Following other people’s advice, I ordered a 14×18 stretcher kit. And I agree, if you want to use the adhesive system of this frame / stretcher kit, then a 14×18 kit will allow the canvas to wrap fully around the stretchers and stick to all the adhesive bits. BUT! Before you order a 14×18 kit, make sure you are fine losing two inches each way on your image. It looking at my painting, going from 16×20 to 14×18 meant giving up a lot of territory on the edges and losing some detail that I didn’t want to lose. I contemplated ordering another kit at 16×20 and using staples. Then I realized it was a paint-by-numbers, not a masterpiece, and what the heck, use what I had in hand.
The way this kit works is very nifty. Follow the instructions. Mark the canvas with pencil marks so you know the stretcher bars are parallel to the edges of the canvas. You don’t want to get things stuck down and find out your image is crooked. The sticky stuff is Really Sticky. Following the instructions, everything came together in under five minutes. The end result is a ready to hang paint by numbers. I am very happy with this. I’m not sure what a professional artist would think of this kit, but for a bored COVID artist like me, it worked fantastically. If I do another paint-by-numbers, I will definitely order this stretcher kit again.

This was my first attempt to frame a canvas. Unfortunately even though the painted area of my canvas measured 16×20 with an additional unpainted 2†beyond it too small to wrap around the frame. I found the vendors videos were really good and easy to follow but my two projects just didn’t fit. Sadly I ordered the frames prior to completing the painting projects and missed the Amazon/vendors window to return.

I was skeptical at first. We usually buy an already set up canvas, not just a canvas sheet. But this time around I needed the frame to stretch the canvas sheet over, so we gave this a try. It was easy to assemble, is very durable, … but it does not stick 100%, we stapled it on the backside into the wood, and hammered it down to make sure it doesn’t come unglued. Still perfect frame!

Incredible!,I’m about half way done and it’s looking amazing! I did one of me and my brothers for my mom about 20 years ago and I’m doing a new one from a newer pic of us standing in the same spots. My only complaint is you can’t read some of the numbers on the really tiny spaces. I would recommend you guys send a larger paper copy where the numbers are more visible. Other than that, I’m very pleased!

So when you think outside of the box EVERYONE WINS! I ordered these so we could all have our own paintings and enjoy time together as a family and its worked out really well. Who Knew!!! They come w/ a “legend” or a “paper copy” w/ the numbers incase you color over a number and need to figure out your mistake. WELL GUESS WHAT I DID! I took that opportunity to create myself a side project and I opted to use the “paper copy” to color w/ color pencils and boy oh boy have I enjoyed myself! My daughter is painting hers and I tracked my journey w/ the legend and using color pencils – at some point I’ll laminate them and great a wall collage or something!

This was my first paint by number (as an adult) and I absolutely love it. It’s challenging enough to be considered a project yet easy enough for either of my two little girls to do as well. This feels meditating and I will certainly be buying more after this. The only observation that I have is that the writing on the actual packaging had incorrect grammar and some misspelled words. Not a big deal. I love the actual canvas and painting. Would recommend.

I got this as a gift for a 6 year old. While it’s a really nice looking gift, it’s not really for young children. Some of the sections are small and would be hard for a child to paint inside the lines. Otherwise very nice turtle.

This is THE MOST “therapeutic†with the BEST visual progress over time.. I started making this because I am a hairstylist, and thought it would just be fun! As time went on, I am now planning to finish this and frame it for my friends daughter to put in her “magical†playroom they made for her. Annnd then will be buying another one for my self! So I was looking at the other listing for the sable brushes and thought these were sable too, but they are synthetic. That being said, they are very high quality synthetic. They are super sturdy and don’t seem to deform as easily as other synthetic brushes do.
The brushes came in a plastic container, and were inside a velvet pouch which is a really nice touch. All in all, even though this wasn’t what I originally intended to buy I’m pleased and will be ordering the NicPro sable brushes too. I’ve learned over the years that you can never have too many brushes!
