I loved the peony painting so I was really anxious to do the Yellow Roses. What I got was nothing like the picture. Instead of gray the background is browns, which would be fine except it is just full of different colored lines that don’t make any sense at all. The yellow paints are actually the most garish and ugly golds. I’m sending this one right back. It is horrible.
I am loving this painting. The directions say to paint one color at a time but I prefer going section by section in case I want to shade some areas. I strictly painted this one just like the numbers and did not shade any areas together. I gave it 4 stars because some colors need two coats. Be sure to go slowly in blackish areas or when it dries you will see little white specks where the paint didn’t get into the canvas. This is only my 3rd paint by number so I have a lot to learn but I’m happy with what I have done.

I bought these brushes to start painting 28mm miniatures. I have other brush sets with a few detail brushes but I wanted a dedicated fine detail set. These brushes have a nice weight to them, and the ergonomic handles made for a comfortable painting session. The plastic case and soft drawstring bag are a nice touch. Excellent quality, easy to assemble. I bought a canvas picture from another seller that came unframed. This product came with easy to understand directions and assembly was a breeze. The only issue I had was that the staples that come with this to hold the corners together are fused together. My brother had to pry them apart since I was unable to get it myself. My Psychedelic Tiger,I really enjoyed this painting. It was easy to follow the numbers and the colors. My biggest problem was that many of the colors were too sheer and needed 2-4 coats.

Custom PBN,I have only finished one of them and i’m pleased with it. I’m still working on the others and am a little concerned with the colors. I have learned that you really can’t tell for sure until you’re finished. I really wish they would put more numbers on them. I have found it difficult to tell what color to use when there is only 1 number for a large winding area. Also the very light (pink) lines are difficult to see.

Artistic Woman,This was my second paint by number kit. I purchased this for the benefit of gaining skill in painting by numbers. The quality of the product was excellent. The paints were very thick and in hindsight I should have diluted each of them with water prior to use, thus not making the colors so dark on my first application. Halfway through the project I decided to use my own colors–big mistake. I should have completed the painting with paint supplied and applied my own color variations at the end. Needless to say, i ruined the picture and discarded it. I since purchased Four Seasons and it came out beter than I planned. I personally prefer a matte finish for my paintings. Overall I was completely satisfied with the product but unhappy with how I approached the project. This gave me countless hours of enjoyment painting. My plans are to have a custom print done to paint.

The box says that kids can do this – which is bonkers. I bought two for my friend and I to do while she came to visit from out of town. I’d give 5 stars if it didn’t come folded. We couldn’t successfully iron out the creases. The spaces are quite small, which means you have to quite attentive. Some of the light colors have a hard time covering the numbers, but an extra coat or two will solve that.

Really great product for a Do-It-Yourself project. Not much of a project as it is pretty easy to do. Only issue I had was making sure it was squared on the picture. The painting I got wasn’t on a perfectly squared piece of canvas, so it was a little challenging. Seems really well made, and all the pieces line up nicely. Will buy it again if I ever need more done!

The shape of the brushes is very good to hold.
The quality is much more than I expected.
It comes in a nice bag and inside a plastic container very good to protect the brushes when you are traveling.
I didn’t try it with watercolor yet.
The brushes snaps a little, I think those brushes doesn’t fit very well because of that.
But for acrylics I tested and worked very well.

I’ve been really enjoying these brushes. There’s enough of a variety for my acrylic paint projects, and very precise. I like the handles, and they’re easy to clean. I’ve damaged the bristles on some of the brushes by leaving them in a cup of water for too long, but that’s my bad for leaving a delicate brush in my paint cup for days on end. Thank you!!

For an adult, it’s a pleasant activity, easy to be mindless and get lost in the numbers. The canvas is great quality, like it’s real actual canvas and not plastic sheeting or something. It came folded up, and the folds came out with an iron. I had my husband built me a wooden frame for it, that we stretched the canvas over and stapled it, which is exactly what I wanted. The paints are really nice quality too, I think it’s real acrylic or something – but I don’t think it’s oil as the item description says. The paint washes off the brushes with just water. Not just cheap materials, which is what I was expecting! The brushes leave a little to be desired, but I used scissors to trim off the bad hairs and now they’re ok. I would not recommend for kids! lol 😛 Tiny tiny details, in the pictures I used a pen for scale of the tiny areas that are to be painted! (I guess some kids could handle it, but not many I know!) It’s gonna take me forever to finish, as these sorts of crafts usually do. But it’s already turning out much better than I thought it would. Overall, much much better quality than the description leads on! I am pleased with this!

Everything came in in good shape. Canvas was folded, so I had to use iron to get rid of fold lines, but it was easy enough. Paints were fresh, the quality of paintbrushes were ok. The only suggestion is to include bigger picture of the painting, and in true colors. The picture that was included with my set was about 4â€x3†and not of true colors.
Other than that, it was fun and therapeutic project.

This is one of the BEST QUALITY paintings l have ever found. It is coming out beautifully. The symbols are clear and easy to see. There were a couple just a little low on beads (there aren’t a lot spaces for them and a similar colored bead cld be used to substititute). But I contacted the company. They got back to me right away and sent me a whole new one!! The canvas for both is of excellent quality. I see there are mixed reviews on this product …..I am extremly picky about my paintings and this one is truly gorgeous, and one of the best I have ever come across and I’ve done dozens of them. I highly highly recommend it. I will post a pic of it when I finish:)

I got this for my 14 year old niece to do and give back to me. I have problems with my hands so I could not do it myself. She enjoyed doing it. The numbers were easy to read and the instructions easy to follow. The paints worked well and are nice colors. I like that this set sends multiple brushes too. My only complaint is the creases on the finished product. I wish it wasn’t so creased from being in the box. But that’s just my personal preference and I didn’t take any stars off for that. Overall she enjoyed the time she spent on it and I like the finished product.

So I got these, I started one of them and I am enjoying it. I actually decided to gift the other one to someone else. Just because it is fun and I dont need two and this will lighten someones day. A 7 year old painted the Monkey and a 9 year old painted the Tiger. The Tiger was definitely harder and required more patience. We almost ran out of green paint for the monkey but we did make it. There was plenty of paint for all the other colors. There was no paint mixing needed. Each painting came with 2 paintbrushes, both with relatively small tips. We ended up using our own paintbrushes. The directions were in awkward English, as others have mentioned, but this type of painting project doesn’t require much in the way of directions. The paintings each came with 2 hangers and screws. The hanging hardware for the Tiger painting was bigger than the hardware for the monkey. Both kids really enjoyed the painting and want to do more at some point
