Pay attention to the notes regarding having at least 1 1/2 inches extra on each side around your selected picture size, it is absolutely needed for the adhesive frame to stick.
I bought it for a paint-by-number canvas, which was purchased frame-less by accident, so i only had about 1 inch on each side to work with. I knew that when I chose the frame that i won’t have enough. I only have canvas to cover the sides of the frame but not enough to go around to be back. It looks OK since it is do-at-home project. I wish there were kits with the 1/2 inch thick frame in addition of 1 inch.

I really enjoyed this paint by numbers! It took me about a month, working on it between 2-4 hours a day to complete. I found it extremely relaxing. It really does look three dimensional and much like an original oil painting (vs the acrylic that it’s actually painted with). I did have a few issues with the paints themselves… while they weren’t dried out, they were incredibly thick, making it necessary to water them down in order to paint the small areas cleanly. Also, I was given two of the same colors for the yellow #1 & #2, as well as for two of the grays (this one was more of an issue because it was for the background areas that are supposed to look like a putty knife was used and now, many areas just look like large areas of gray). Once I realized it, I added the next color in to give it depth, but I was pretty far into it, so that part is disappointing to me. I didn’t have any trouble reading the tiny numbers, but I have pretty good vision, so if you need readers, you may require a magnifier. I was also a bit sad that the background is much more gray than the taupe it appears to be in the product image, but I still love it. When I order my next one, I will also order better brushes. The ones provided got the job done, but they are not great. All-in-all, this was a fantastic find for the price and I highly recommend. I am attaching a progression of my work for fun (I took a pic every day, but won’t bore you with all of them). Enjoy!

This product is definitely worth the money. It’s better than having to pay a store to stretch out your canvas. I use this for my Paint by Numbers projects. So my only problem is that I have to flip my canvas over to stretch it. I am unable to see the pattern on the other side. And as much as I try to keep it straight my canvas came out crooked. I guess the only way to fix this I have to measure the canvas, cut out to make sure it’s a perfect rectangle. So that when I flip the canvas over, I can confidently place the wood perfectly without the pattern being crooked (just a helpful tip for my fellow Paint by Numbers peeps).

Fun Fun Fun,I had a canvas made from a photo of my niece for my 73 year old mother. She had a stroke 2 years ago so I wanted to get her something that would enhance her dexterity. At first it looked intimidating, (it might have been because of the photo I chose), but once we started we became addicted. It’s a great way to spend time with each other. Gave it 4 out of 5 stars just because it doesn’t come with a separate cheat sheet like some others do so you will know what numbers go where if you accidentally cover them with paint (which happens a lot with this picture) some of the number parts are really small. Over all I’m happy with the end result and enjoyed painting it! The paint lasted and I still had some left over.

I completed this during Shelter in Place. This paint by number was very helpful in removing me from screen time. I would sit down to paint for 20 minutes and look up only to see that hours have passed by. The end result was also gram worthy. It was very easy to read and I was able to stay in the lines, mostly.

Great product. Some of the colors were wonky in some areas, but then the step back and look at the full picture and looks perfect. I did some tweaking to the hair and did it myself with the colors I thought fit best, and texture I wanted, but I recommend just following the guidelines cause it would’ve been a whole lot easier for me if I just followed the numbers with the hair😂

Love this paint by number! I cannot speak for everyone, but the framing system included just didn’t work for me. The little slats where the wood is supposed to meet just aren’t big enough. And the wood itself is pine and is unfinished. However, scrap the wood and you have a gorgeous project! The paint can dry a little, but since it’s ACRYLIC (not oil), add a few drops of water and you’re good to go! Very vibrant piece! I can honestly say I can’t wait to finish it!
