I really enjoyed doing this little paint project. It is small and comes stapled around a wooden frame. When it was complete I decided it looked a little too much like it belonged in a young girls room, so I did not hang it. It was fun to work on. I think a young person age 7-11 would probably really love this as a gift. The colors in the photo were not the same as the tones in the paints supplied with the canvas. If the colors were more like the photo I don’t think it would have looked so much like it belonged in a child’s room.

This is very detailed, and I am very impressed. At times I was worried the colors were wrong, as when you have your nose on the canvas, some just dont seem to mesh, but when you step back and look at the finish product you definitely feel a little like a professional artist, albeit a cheater.
The kit arrived with a printed, folded canvas, 30 lil paint pots, 3 brushes, a paper “map” of numbers, hanging supplies, and a small (2″×3″) photograph of the finished piece.
I’m a little less than thrilled of the actual paint quality, which varied from pot-to-pot. Some was runny, some was quite thick. The runny just required an extra coat, the thick needed a bit of thinning with a little water, annoying, but not a game changer for me. I did, however, barely use half of what was provided, I still have a bunch of paint left over.
I managed to finish this in just under three weeks, and enjoyed every moment. I’m now trying to get my sister to buy a kit so we can have social painting time. 10/10, would, and I have, recommend this kit.

Good-quality product,This is my first try at ‘adult’ painting by numbers, and I was pleased with the quality of the canvas sent to me. Some of the areas are so tiny, and the numbers hard to read, that a magnifying glass is necessary, but I am working away on this, slowly. I took the tip of photographing the canvas, in sections, so that I could zoom in to read the paint numbers — and what works even better is to put those photos on my laptop and have that by my side as I paint.

So it’s a good project for a parent and a child or a very patient kid who likes art. I’m using these brushes mainly for smoothing colored-pencil drawings, as well as detail work on scale models. They’ve performed well after several uses, with roughly 4 cumulative hours on the most used brushes. I haven’t noticed a loss of bristles or anything that would amount to a quality issue. The brush is comfortable in the hand, has a decent weight to it, without feeling terrible unbalanced. If I had to replace these today, I wouldn’t have issues buying these again.

I had not painted for 55 years and was intrigued by this beautiful evening citiscape. Very challenging but when I finished after 3 weeks, working 6 hours a day, it was the most extraordinary piece of canvas I’d ever done. Everyone wants to know if it’s of the steps at Montmartre, but I don’t think so, as they are too narrow. Highly recommend this painting if you’ve got lots of time and patience!

This is definitely a great project and high quality for the price. The end result painting is beautiful. This was easy to paint. It’s fun to do and easy to read the numbers! The brushes were not good quality so I used some I had on hand already. I do recommend having it put on a canvas frame first to make it a little easier.

Good array of brushes for painting details and watercolor acrylics. I only used them on water color acrylics so I cant say for other paint types but they were well crafted and very sturdy and definitely made for long term use with out a lot of wear and tear on your hands. Longer tips to the brushes can be handy as well. Customer service was friendly and very helpful for the questions that I had.

I haven’t started painting this kit yet. It is printed on canvas and the paints are a very soft pastels. This canvas arrived a lot sooner than I expected to my delight.
