This painting was one of the best that I have encountered!!! The paints were nice and thick, but not too thick. The canvas was of good quality and absorbed the paint nicely. The whole painting was laid out well, and very easy to follow—never got lost once. The painting looks pretty much like the small picture that came with it. My only complaint is that some of the lighter colors did not cover number/lines very well (typical for most kits). I very much enjoyed painting this one!!! The end result was a very nice painting to hang.

Really happy I purchased two of these to mount a couple of canvas paintings from a local artist.
You have to pay attention to what you’re doing, but instructions are straight-forward and the process is pretty easy to follow.
Neither of the canvas I mounted were completely flat. Each had some shallow waves in them, but stretching and mounting them on this frame got rid of 96% of the waves.
Five minutes after mounting you have to really look close to see any imperfections in the surface of the canvas. I’m very happy with the results, but I suspect as the fabric adjusts over the next couple of days it will continue to flatten out.

Will be buying more from this seller once I have other paintings. This is probably the only seller that has measurements that are for large paintings. I looked for 50″ × 38″ I could find that. Solid product for the price and ease of assembly. I assembled it in less than 10 minutes for my 36 x 48 ish canvas painting. Really happy with it so far though it has only been a few days. Only caveat I had was that the glue and covering was missing or came off on the corner of one of the pieces when I opened the product, but as it is then matched to the corner of another piece, it was not an issue for assembly. Overly, highly recommend.

This worked great! I ended up just putting the frame together after peeling off the bottom of each bar (instruction #2). The sticky tape wraps around the ends of each bar, so they stuck together to hold the frame in place.
I centered the picture as best I could (picture facing me) and folded the edges of the picture on the sticky parts along the length of the frame.
I tried following the instructions, but I kept messing up the picture (too far left, too far right, etc. because you needed to have the picture facing the floor). This way I could see where I was placing the picture and just fold the edges onto the sticky tape.
I didn’t cut anything either – I just tucked the corners in and put a little piece of tape to hold them down. I didn’t have enough canvas to peel the sticky tape along the back side of the frame (instruction #5) so I left them on.
I used two command strips to hang it on my wall – I’ll be ordering more!

Venice,I ordered this paint by numbers kit as physical therapy after repair of brain aneurysms left me with some nerve damage to my dominant arm and hand. The fine hand work required for this piece has help to decrease the numbness and pins + needles sensations, and improved functionality.
It was an added bonus for me to end up with a beautiful painting. I have also ordered a custom kit from one of my own photos.
The kits have come with everything needed. Plenty of paint and brushes.
The canvas has been a little to moderately wrinkled and the colors come out a little to dark.
I will definitely order more custom prints, but lighten the image before submitting.

Although this kit/picture is super cute, I don’t think it’s suitable for kids. This kitty has the tiniest numbered spots! It’s way too detailed for a kid. My twin girls are 6 and the one who got this canvas has really struggled… And she’s my more artistic/detailed twin. My other daughter completed the puppy canvas (over time) with minimal assistance. I’ve been helping a lot on this kitty bc I think it’s cute and I want to eventually frame it, but I wish my daughter could actually participate more and not be so overwhelmed by it.

This was my first Paint By Numbers, and I was a bit nervous because some of the reviews online, on the various paintings were a mix of good and bad comments. So I was nervous about what would arrive in the mail. It came very nicely packaged… with paint, 3 brushes, a colored picture of what the finished product will look like, and then a large picture of basically a copy of the canvas numbers (this is really helpful if you want to go back and do a second coat on a section but cannot remember what number/ paint color that was). I am satisfied with my purchase. And just ordered another painting from the same seller. I am almost done with my painting. I love it! The numbers are easy to read… the brushes it comes with are perfect for all the various sizes of sections that need to be covered in paint. I must say working on this is very relaxing, and that is what I was hoping for when I bought it.

Very detailed so be prepared! I’m writing this review only to help others because some of the colors are off. Most noticeably… the blue #3 is much too bright a blue and I should have added black to tone it down and darken it. The charcoal #6 needed lightening because it was too close to the black and didn’t stand out. The blue #5 also needed lightening and I had to adjust a few others to either make them stand out or tone them down. Wish I had known this before painting half the picture and then realizing I needed to go back and repaint some of it. Ran out of black #12 and came close to running out of the charcoal and blue #5 but realized this half way through and made sure to use every bit on my brush and apply as thin a coat as possible. I needed a magnifying glass to read some of the numbers and some spots are missing numbers so I had to look at the picture and take a guess. In the end, it turned out pretty nice but I’m not too happy with the color of that bright blue #3. I would have fixed it but it was just too much trouble to go back and repaint.

You need to know when you do these paint by numbers pictures that it is going to be a slow, tedious process. If you like hobbies like hard jigsaw puzzles, cross stitching, building and painting models, or any projects that require patience and delayed gratification, then you will like this. I find it a soothing way to unwind.
I will say that the paint colors for this painting are not as vibrant as the picture, though they are still pretty. And the brushes are pretty cheap. But for the price, it’s a great set, and you can always grab a brush or two of better quality so you don’t frustrate yourself trying to work with the ones provided. Especially since most of the numbered sections in this particular picture are very small.

A number of the paints were translucent and very difficult to cover the canvas numbers, even though I had treated the canvas with a semi opaque white gesso. The majority of the canvas is very very small areas. Even though it was very labor intensive, I think it turned out beautiful.

I used to love to paint by number when I was a child. It kept me busy for awhile. When this became available, I decided to get it for my daughter. She loves to draw and has quite a few art kits. However, painting is something still new to her. This was a good way to introduce her to it.
The canvas is nice and thick. The paints came tightly sealed/closed in small containers and well labeled to match up with the numbers on the canvas. The colors are vivid enough. The brush was a bit lacking, but not enough to take away a star. This was fun to do for my daughter, not only because it easy to get going/finish, but because the picture, cats, is one of her obsessions.
