I was quoted $125 by JoAnn’s to put stretcher bars on a small canvas I purchased in Curacao. I found this product online that enabled me to do it myself for a fraction of the cost. It was so easy to use (done in ~ 10 min) and my canvas looks fantastic. I’m never going back to JoAnn’s for framing canvas again. BTW, I’m an adhesives and tapes scientist, and I can say that their selection of tape for bonding wood to canvas is very good. Meaning, it bonds quickly and firmly (e.g. don’t try to remove the bar once placed, the adhesive is strong bonding). The release liner was a little bit tighter than I would have liked, but the liner didn’t tear upon removal. I highly recommend this product.

Adjustments and Time,This was the first time I did a paint by number on canvas. Some of the paints weren’t thick enough so I had to paint over certain section 4 or 5 times for it to look right. It took me a long time to get this done but I enjoyed it.

It was so relaxing and it was the first thing I hung in my new apartment. My only suggestion is to paint on a hard, flat surface with something underneath, because for me it was so therapeutic I got a lttle paint on the table! No big deal. 🙂

Frame was thicker than I’d hoped. Didn’t have enough canvas to wrap around the frame like it should have been. Took an extra set of hands to ‘roll’ the frame and secure it. Nice quality frame. Super sticky tape..

This is a good product. All the parts were there and the instructions pretty easy to follow. We found it easier to tape our picture to a table to keep it from moving around. Our picture was large, so it took two people to get it on the frame. Not sure if 1 person could do it by themselves if the picture was smaller. It turned out great, and I was very pleased with the result. The price is unbeatable. Custom framing is way out of our price range.

My favorite yet,I knew I was going to love this one and it didn’t disappoint. The colors are so vibrant, actually better than what the picture depicted. This is my second thus far and I plan on continuing until I’ve painted all of the items on the site that interest me (or until my fingers fall off, whichever happens first). It’s one of those “trust the process” experiences as well…..looks intimidating at first, then it doesn’t look like much for a while, but then comes a point when you really start to see the picture come to life. These brushes are firm, but not too stiff. While I’m not experienced with miniature painting, these have made the process easier than it could have been without the brushes. Huge step up from using toothpicks in my opinion.

Enjoyed Painting This, but….,I have always loved Van Gogh’s paintings and I was excited to get this one to paint. The painting was challenging and fun, but the colors shown in the finished picture on your website were not the same as the colors in the picture that I did. My painting was much darker and did not show the details in the painting, such as the people strolling.

This product was so much fun to work on. I was nervous that the painting wouldn’t match up to my photo, but it did perfectly. For those worried about the small spaces, the brushes they provide with the canvas work really well. Not only is it fun, but it’s also sturdy and if you need more of a certain color, the make sure to provide it. My canvas was very colorful and it was a picture of two musicians I admire. The colors matched up perfectly and I had enough to do a double coat of each of the 30 paints/colors. They also give you the hardware to hang your canvas up (minus the hook).
I loved it so much I’m ordering another one tonight. Can’t rec this enough!

I completed this during Shelter in Place. This paint by number was very helpful in removing me from screen time. I would sit down to paint for 20 minutes and look up only to see that hours have passed by. The end result was also gram worthy. It was very easy to read and I was able to stay in the lines, mostly.

The reviews seem to be exaggerating a bit in terms of difficulty… I don’t have a staple gun and it came together just fine, wood fit together great, consistency of parts is not perfect but for the price paid and time spent (15 min) can’t be beat.
The biggest problem is the wood tension reinforcements, those don’t fit in the wood very well at all but with superglue it’s ok.

I love this! Its been really fun. Mine came rolled, and I had no problems with any creasing.
I do just use the smallest little brush, and use the lid of the paint pit to mix water with the paint. Get the right consistency!
Mine did take a while to get to me, but I didnt mind! So fun!
For the price especially I couldn’t have asked for a better little project.

I purchased this item for a friend’s birthday. It was a photo of her dog and the end result was very life-like. Sorry I didn’t take a photo of the end result. Took about two weeks to complete. Delivery was timely. I will be ordering more of these for Christmas presents. I did purchase an additional set of paint brushes from Amazon that were a little better quality than the ones that came with the kit, but overall, I’m very happy with this product.

This really doesn’t look like a paint by numbers. Don’t worry about the wrinkles; a quick press and lay it flat on a table over night and its perfect. I love how mine turned out. I bought 2 more from this company. Who knows how long I’ll be socially distant.

This set is really good quality. It comes in a tube so there are no creases, something I haven’t experienced with other kits. The paints are pretty thick and opaque which makes it easier to paint. I haven’t finished the piece but it’s look great so far. It’s got some very small sections though so it might be a bit difficult for beginners.
